The Ten Wing Challenge
Ten wings, the hottest sauce we make, and no drink until the last bone is down. Finish the lot inside eight minutes and the night is free — and your name goes up on the board by the till.
The night itself
How it works
It started as an argument between two people on the grill about how hot a wing could get before it stopped being food. Nine months later it has its own board by the till, a laminated sheet of rules nobody reads, and a waiting list most months.
The whole thing is this: ten wings, one sauce, eight minutes on the clock. No drink, no bread, and nothing to wipe your hands on but the roll of blue paper we leave on the table. Finish and your seat is refunded at the counter, your name goes on the board, and whoever is on the till will make sure the entire room hears about it. Stop early and you have still had ten very good wings and a story to take home.
It was never meant to be a spectator sport and it became one anyway — by half past seven most of the seats in the room are turned towards the challenge table, and the fryer runs flat out all night feeding everybody who came to watch.
It runs at Double Stack in Dubai, in the room you already order in — no separate venue, no hire fee, and the normal menu running the whole time for anyone at your table who would rather have a burger and watch.

Seats are held on a name, not a payment — you settle at the till on the night. Leave a number and whoever is on the counter will ring you back to confirm, usually the same day.
Groups over eight are better on the phone than through this form — +971 4 000 0000 gets you the counter directly.
